photographer based in Seoul, South Korea.

Since 2019, I’ve been capturing unforgettable moments for travelers, couples, and influencers from all around the world. Whether it’s a wedding photoshoot, a Korean pre-wedding session, or a Seoul travel photography experience, my goal is to help every client feel comfortable, confident, and natural in front of the camera — even if posing feels unfamiliar.

I believe photography is not just about taking pictures, but about telling your story through beautiful, timeless images. Let’s create warm memories together in the heart of Seoul that you’ll cherish forever.

let's talk about this gorgeous rose tunnel for a second!

If you’re traveling to Seoul with your whole family—grandparents, energetic little ones, and everyone in between—you probably already know how tricky it can be to find a photoshoot spot that makes everyone happy. You need somewhere beautiful, but also spacious and easy to walk around. That’s exactly why Yeouido Park is one of my absolute favorite hidden gems in the city.

Just look at this stunning red floral archway! When this lovely family showed up in their matching crisp white and neutral outfits, I knew we were going to get some incredible shots. By the way, coordinating your wardrobe like this is a massive pro-tip if you're planning a family session. It keeps the focus entirely on your faces and makes your smiles totally pop against the lush greenery and bright red roses, without making the photo look too busy.

But honestly, my favorite thing about these photos isn't just the amazing lighting or the perfect outfits—it’s the vibe. I am really not a fan of forcing everyone to stand stiffly in a line and say 'cheese.' Instead, I just asked them to hang out and enjoy the walk.

Seeing the grandparents looking so lovingly at the kids, and catching those real, unposed laughs while the warm golden sunlight filtered through the vines... that’s where the real magic happens, don't you think?

Now, whenever I photograph families with young kids, I always try to get that one classic, frame-worthy shot where everyone is actually looking at the camera.

You know the one—the photo you send to your relatives back home or put on the holiday card! We managed to get a beautiful one right under the roses. And can we just take a second to appreciate the boys' matching palm-tree outfits?

Absolutely adorable. It contrasts so perfectly with mom and dad's bright whites.

Look at that second photo! This is exactly what it’s actually like to travel with kids, right? Someone is looking away, someone is distracted, but mom is just throwing her head back with the most genuine, beautiful laugh, and dad is looking at them with so much love. You just can’t fake that kind of joy.

I always tell parents not to stress if the little ones won't sit perfectly still or look right into the lens. Sometimes, just letting go of the pressure and laughing through the beautiful chaos gives us the most priceless, authentic memories of your trip to Korea.

We absolutely have to take a moment to talk about these two brothers. I mean, look at them! The matching olive-green palm tree sets are just the coolest choice for a sunny day at the park, don't you think?

If you have kids, you know that getting toddlers to cooperate during a photoshoot can sometimes be a bit of a wild ride. But big brother here was such a superstar. In that first shot, seeing him holding his little brother's hand and gently guiding him down the path just melted my heart. It’s exactly those sweet, fleeting sibling moments that parents always want to freeze in time.

And then, of course, the big brother needed his own moment to shine! We took a few solo portraits of him right by the rose bushes, and he totally nailed it. Hands in his pockets, that confident little smile... he was an absolute natural in front of the camera! I always love giving kids their own mini "solo session" during a family shoot. It makes them feel so special, boosts their confidence, and usually gets us the absolute best, most relaxed smiles.

One thing I always notice during big family trips is that the adults—especially parents and grandparents—are almost always the ones holding the camera or the smartphones. They take hundreds of photos of the kids but end up with almost zero pictures of themselves! I always make it my mission to change that.

While the little ones were taking a quick breather, I pulled the adults aside to give them their well-deserved time in the spotlight. Just look at the grandfather in that first shot! Looking incredibly sharp, handsome, and so relaxed in his crisp white shirt. And the stunning lady in the beautiful white halter dress? Her bright smile is just radiant against the vibrant red roses. Getting these individual portraits is so important because it captures the joy of the trip from everyone's unique perspective, not just the kids'.

And of course, we absolutely couldn't forget mom and dad! Let’s be real, traveling internationally with toddlers is no joke, so giving them a tiny, quiet moment to just breathe and be a romantic couple again was so incredibly sweet. That gentle forehead kiss under the floral archway with the soft sunlight hitting her hair... it’s peaceful, cinematic, and such a beautiful reminder of the love story that started this whole beautiful family.

After capturing those sweet individual moments, we decided to take a little stroll across the wide-open lawns of the park. One of the coolest things about Yeouido Park is that it’s located right in the middle of Seoul’s bustling financial district. You get this incredibly unique background where a peaceful, lush green park perfectly meets the modern city skyline.

Just look at this full family walking shot! I always tell my clients that the absolute best photos happen when you aren't trying to pose at all. I simply asked them to walk casually towards me, and of course, the youngest one immediately took charge and decided to lead the way!

Seeing the whole family just walking, talking, and laughing together while trying to keep up with the little guy... these are the candid, genuine, unscripted moments I absolutely live for as a photographer. You don’t need stiff poses when you have this kind of natural, joyful energy. It’s like a beautiful scene straight out of a movie, showing exactly what a perfect family vacation in Seoul feels like.

While the youngest was taking a little break with his grandparents, we took full advantage of the moment to give the big brother some undivided attention. If you have multiple kids, you know how much the older siblings appreciate getting mom and dad all to themselves, even just for a few minutes!

Look at the way he is looking up at his dad in that second photo while swinging their hands—it is just pure, unfiltered happiness. When he had his parents' full attention, his energy totally shifted, and his smiles got even bigger. And of course, dad had to bring out the classic "airplane lift"! Capturing the mid-air giggles and mom's loving smile in the background resulted in some of the most dynamic and joyful shots of the entire day.

I also have to point out the incredible backdrop in these photos. This is exactly why I highly recommend Yeouido Park to families visiting Korea. You get this massive, open green lawn where the kids can run wild and free, but right behind you are these towering, futuristic skyscrapers. It creates such a cool, distinctly "Seoul" vibe that you just can't get anywhere else. It’s the perfect mix of urban energy and relaxed nature!

Of course, we couldn't finish the park session without capturing the beautiful bond between mom and her boys. As much as the big group shots are important, breaking the family down into smaller combinations gives us these incredibly tender, everyday moments that you just can't script.

Just look at that shot of the youngest making a run for it across the grass! With his adorable little topknot bouncing in the sunlight, he was completely in his element. I always tell parents to just let their toddlers roam free for a bit during the shoot. You don't need to chase them down to say 'cheese.' It’s exactly when they are just being kids—running, exploring, and playing—that we get those pure, joyful, frame-worthy expressions.

And those one-on-one moments with mom? Absolute perfection. Whether it’s the older brother leaning back and looking up at her with so much trust and adoration, or that tight, quiet hug with the youngest on the lawn... these are the photos that I know a mother's heart will treasure the most. There are no forced smiles here, just real, overwhelming love captured on a beautiful afternoon in Seoul.

Let me share one of my biggest secrets for photographing young children: always, always plan for a snack break!

After all that running around the park and exploring, the little ones were naturally starting to run out of steam. We were originally hoping to find some classic ice cream cones for that picture-perfect summer look, but we ended up grabbing these simple ice cream cups instead. And honestly? It turned out to be the best thing that could have happened!

Cups are so much less messy, which meant Mom and Dad didn't have to stress about sticky hands or dripping ice cream ruining their crisp white outfits for the rest of the shoot. It did exactly what we needed—it gave the boys a moment to cool down, sit for a minute, and just recharge.

Just look at the results! Sitting on the modern park benches with their cold treats, the whole family’s energy instantly shifted. Dad carefully feeding the youngest, the big brother sharing a hilarious moment with mom... these are exactly those natural, slice-of-life moments I love to capture. You simply cannot pose this kind of relaxed joy. Sometimes, all it takes is a little cup of ice cream to hit the reset button and bring out the most genuine family interactions!

Before we completely wrapped up our time at the park, the sun started to dip just low enough to give us that absolute photographer's dream: the golden hour. We found a soft, grassy hill to just sit down, kick back, and soak in that beautiful late afternoon glow.

If you look closely at the background of the second photo, you’ll spot a traditional Korean thatched-roof pavilion tucked away under the trees! I absolutely love incorporating these subtle, authentic details into my shots. You don't always need to go to a crowded, grand palace to get photos that feel uniquely Korean. Sometimes, a peaceful park right in the middle of the city offers the perfect, effortless blend of modern Seoul and traditional charm.

With the boys cuddled up in their parents' laps and that gorgeous, soft sunlight filtering through the leaves, the whole scene just felt so incredibly dreamy. It was honestly the perfect, peaceful way to wind down such a fun and energetic family session!
