photographer based in Seoul, South Korea.
Since 2019, I’ve been capturing unforgettable moments for travelers, couples, and influencers from all around the world. Whether it’s a wedding photoshoot, a Korean pre-wedding session, or a Seoul travel photography experience, my goal is to help every client feel comfortable, confident, and natural in front of the camera — even if posing feels unfamiliar.
I believe photography is not just about taking pictures, but about telling your story through beautiful, timeless images. Let’s create warm memories together in the heart of Seoul that you’ll cherish forever.
If I had to pick just one spot that captures the magic of Seoul in autumn, I’d choose Seochon without hesitation.
Tucked beside the stone wall of Gyeongbokgung Palace, this neighborhood turns into a golden daydream once the leaves begin to fall. A long stretch of massive ginkgo trees lines the path, creating that warm yellow glow you can recognize from a mile away.
As the season settles in, the street fills with travelers, couples, and locals out for a slow afternoon walk. There’s a kind of gentle chaos here—footsteps on fallen leaves, the soft rustling of branches, and the constant clicking of cameras trying to freeze the moment before the colors disappear.
Seochon feels both old and new, peaceful and lively, and for me, it represents the heart of autumn in Seoul.
During November, when the ginkgo trees were at their absolute peak, I had the chance to photograph a beautiful couple beneath that golden canopy.
The timing couldn’t have been better—the leaves were glowing, the air was crisp, and the whole street felt like a scene lifted straight out of a travel film.
We started the session under beautiful sunlight, and the moment we took the first few steps, we couldn’t help but pause.
The backdrop was almost unreal. The golden trees, the soft light, and the quiet charm of the street came together so perfectly that both the couple and I found ourselves just taking it in for a second before the shutter even clicked.
In Seochon, November is the peak of the ginkgo season, and that beauty comes with one reality: crowds. Once the golden leaves hit their prime, people pour into the neighborhood from every direction.
If you want a bit more freedom to move around and enjoy the space without too many distractions, early morning is the way to go. Even being just a little late can mean sharing the streets with a constant flow of visitors, all eager to capture the same autumn magic.
Seochon isn’t just about the famous ginkgo-lined street. The neighborhood is filled with charming local restaurants and cozy cafés, making it one of the best places in Seoul for a relaxed date.
After a walk under the golden trees, you can slip into a small brunch spot, try a traditional Korean dish, or spend an hour in a quiet café watching the neighborhood wake up.
It’s the kind of area where a simple stroll easily turns into a whole afternoon together.
And just like Bukchon, Seochon also has pockets of traditional hanok architecture tucked between its narrow lanes.
The difference is that it feels a little quieter, a little less overwhelming than the always-busy Bukchon Hanok Village.
For travelers who want the charm of hanok houses without the packed crowds, Seochon can be an even better choice.
It’s a place where you can slow down, wander at your own pace, and still enjoy that timeless Korean atmosphere.
During couple sessions, what matters most to me is capturing the atmosphere that belongs only to the two of them. My goal is always to make the moment feel like a real date, not a performance in front of a camera.
When couples forget about the lens and simply enjoy being together, that’s when the most honest and beautiful photos happen.
