Even in February’s chilly weather, many families still book a hanbok photoshoot to create lasting memories with their kids. For this session with two children, we were lucky—the day wasn’t too cold, so we were able to enjoy the shoot and capture some beautiful moments together.

You can’t miss a photoshoot with a little prince and princess.

We can’t miss those sweet, affectionate moments between mom and dad either.

Every shoot matters, of course—but with family sessions, the most important thing is the memories kids create with their parents. Taking beautiful solo portraits in hanbok is meaningful too, but the real key is building a fun, warm atmosphere so the family can genuinely enjoy the time together.

Spending a joyful time with their parents almost makes them forget they’re even in the middle of a photoshoot.

You also can’t leave out the classic pairings—dad and son, and mom and daughter.

I try to keep them engaged by encouraging conversation as much as possible—before their attention starts to fade.

I don’t think there’s anything more natural than little kids running around. Of course, we have to be careful so they don’t trip or fall—but it’s also important to be quick and capture the moment in a split second.

On top of that, I even asked mom and dad, “Hold hands and run!”

I don’t tell kids to stop their natural actions just because we’re taking photos. Those moments are exactly when their real smiles come out.
